Astatula Park Boat Ramp Design

CPWG was engaged to assist Lake County Official’s efforts to construct a boat ramp in Asatula, Florida. CPWG Engineers were responsible for construction documents and preparation of the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Permit or Exemption request. CPWG began the project by attending a kick-off meeting with County staff to review the site topographic survey provided by Lake County, establish the project schedule, and review project criteria which would affect the design documents.

CPWG Engineers prepared construction documents associated with the floating dock, parking area, and restroom facility. 60%, 90%, 100% and final construction documents were submitted to the County for review and comment. CPWG attended two design review meetings with County staff. The final plan was provided to County staff for submittal of required County building permits or health department permits. CPWG submitted the Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) documents to the St. Johns River Water Management District for permit/exemption request. The final designed improvements included:
