Madrid CPWG is currently seeking an experienced Surveying and Mapping Technician to work with our professional engineering and surveying staff engaged in various professional activities.
Madrid CPWG is currently seeking an experienced Surveying and Mapping Technician to work with our professional engineering and surveying staff engaged in various professional activities. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits based on experience.
Responsibilities and duties include processing field data, troubleshooting field data, performing deed research, running traverse closures, reducing level notes, finalize survey drawings and daily interaction with the field crews.
Essential functions and responsibilities for this position include:
- Read and interpret survey maps, construction plans and utility plans
- Perform QA/QC checks on work performed
- Compute, process and map field data
- Communicate and coordinate with field and office staff to ensure that all projects are completed in a timely and accurate manner
Qualifications and Skills include High School diploma/GED required. Certified Survey Technician (CST) certification is recommended, experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation software. Proficient in Microsoft Office/Word, Excel and Outlook.
