Traffic Signal Redesign

Clearwater, FL

CPWG Transportation specialists redesigned the signal installations and signage at the five-legged intersection of Highland Avenue with Court and Cleveland Streets in Clearwater. The project was completed under the City of Clearwater’s Engineer of Record contract.  The five-legged intersection added some complexity in the design. To further complicate the design process, no left turns are allowed at the intersection. Our team was able to overcome the obstacles and deliver a safe and functional design.

CPWG Engineers designed the poles and mast arms, as well as signing, marking, and signalization features.  Additional services performed during the project included permitting, bidding, construction management, and public information.
